Hotel Love
Eye-witness one of the loveliest, romantic hotels of Barcelona capital. It is my enjoyment to flash-back to the winter holidays when I spent a day at a hotel to fall in love with in company of my beautiful girlfriend and futura-esposa. The hotel I´m about to introduce to you is Hotel Pulitzer. Selected well as the best hotel in Barcelona of 2008. Pricing is relatively ´cheap´ for such a lovely **** .

The lobby area of the most remarkable Hotel Pulitzer Barcelona, was created under the idea of the union halls of a palace of this century, which is the most luxurious material in the light. The chimneys are a receipt from an altar of the Sicilian Baroque, white leather sofas, large tables, vases of classes "oversize" by all parties ... The color and materials are in dominant white, black, gold, wood tones, leather and glass, which are reminiscent of forms in different times and places of Europe and the Orient. But an eye-witness person in all this is the best confirmation you need.

West Hartford style: U.S. & Barcelona alike

The Barcelonans pride ourselves of being part of the latest trends:
In Hartford, Connecticut you can spot somebody sporting a pair of their hippie headbands with the latest boutique fashions, such as a 70’s inspired patterned mini dress paired with vegan sandals or knee high boot flats.
Stash your cash and free your hands with a mini clutch wristlet, while sauntering around the room sipping on bacardi or fine wines from Spain.
The fashion trend has been seen on celebrities such as Nicole Richie, Mischa Barton, Ashley Simpson and Ashley Olsen.
Want to get the look? Check these sites out:
Go directly to Urban Outfitters for a quick fix: Head Bands
Scope up The House of Harlow 1960 double gold headband that was seen on Nicole Richie and is finally available at Kitson, $165.
If you're going for the more retro look, check out Lamé Headwear at American Apparel, $6.50.
You can be seen in radical at Barcelona, West Hartford. Can check it out overseas from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. (um, no, happy hours aren´t like in Spain). It is said you can have Barcelona tapas and wine here. A place to show off your headband and cool fashion fabrics while dancing to tantalizing house beats. Interesting...
Bacardi is Barcelonan
Don Facundo Bacardí Massó (Catalan: Facund Bacardí i Massó) (1814 – May 9, 1886) was a Spanish–Cuban rum businessman. He was the founder and eponym of Bacardi rum distillery in 1862.
Bacardí was born in Sitges (province of Barcelona, in Catalonia, Spain), son of a family of bricklayers. He settled in Cuba in 1830 and business was only in the talks. Don Facundo than attempted to "tame" rum. After struggles of experiments with several techniques he came upon filtering the rum through charcoal, which removed impurities as well as aging the rum in oak barrels, which had the effect of "mellowing" the drink.lunes, 25 de mayo de 2009

Clubbing in Barcelona: Hip Hop Edition vol.2
ELEPHANT BCN: An amazing club near Diagonal. You should not forget to reserve before you enter. I have seen ´show-offs´ try to park their Ferrari´s or Aston Martins at the entrance gate and try to get in without saying ´hola´ to the bouncers and they left the place faster than they raced to get there. First reserve, second dress properly, and third have some respect! You don´t need a big budget to spend, the costs for drinks are the same as in any other clubs in Barcelona. The only exception is the V.I.P. lounge is exclusive, mostly to futbolers and big timers. There are 4 boards in the house: chill-out, jaimas, the tower, and v.i.p. lounge. Pick your flavor. Keep an open ear for their black music parties.
CLUB CATWALK: Catwalk is situated next to Shoko. A fusion of 2 styles: House and r&b & hip-hop. Thursdays are the best days to go as it is when the students tend to go and enjoy DJ Jekey (club local) has his sessions of funky, house, r&b, and hip-hop on the top floor of the 3 story club. Tony Touch has spinned many times in this club as well as DJ Davin (a Barcelona hip-hop favorite right now!) The sofas are so cool and comfortable!
